This year, I had the opportunity to attend the WildFox rooftop pool party, and the Funkshion sponsored fashion shows, which showcased up-and-coming designers OMG Miami Swimwear and SOAH.
The pool party, simply put, was fun. Complete with complimentary cocktails, take-home trinkets and free manicures - the women needless to say were in heaven. A few aspiring and established swim week models made an appearance, including Sports Illustrated model (aka Adam Levine's smoking hot ex), Nina Agdal, pictured below.

Both of Funkshion shows were crowded with Miami elite and city walkers on a typical hot summer evening. Popular tunes of today rocked the outdoor patio of the SLS Hotel on Miami Beach as the shows took place. Over 30 new swimsuit sets were modeled down the runway for each collection. While the OMG's strappy pieces embraced a sexy, fierce "Yoncé" look, SOAH held true to their classic, laid-back beach babe style. Both designer collections - equally gorgeous - embraced their own style and delivered a kick-a$$ show.
Below are some snapshots of my favorite pieces from each designer:
OMG Miami Swimwear starting the show off sassy with this strapped up swimsuit! |
Blowing kisses to the camera, Metisha (model), makes her grand entrance in this fiery-red OMG Swim piece. |
This one piece OMG Swimsuit enveloped a perfect combination of class and sexiness! Love! |

These beach pants had my name written all over them! Perfect cover up to sport this summer by SOAH! |
SOAH, I have one word: Obsessed! |
This SOAH swimsuit was one of the more different ones. Straying away from the "beach-boho" look, this piece definitely got some attention! |
Those were just a few of the many gorgeous looks at this year's Miami Swim Week fashion shows! I don't have to say it twice (but I will) - you know where you have to be this time next year! If you have questions on how to attend these events, shoot me an email!
